1991年4月27日，达伦·巴奈特出生于加州洛杉矶[4]。他的父亲小查尔斯·巴奈特（Charles Barnet Jr.）有德国和切罗基（英语：Cherokee descent）血统、母亲黛博拉·巴奈特（Deborah Barnet）有日本与瑞典血统[5]。达伦有两个姐妹，珍妮佛·安·巴奈特（Jennifer Ann Barnet）是他的亲姐姐；艾蜜莉·布雷迪（Emily Breidy）是他同母异父的继妹[6]。达伦的祖父查理·巴奈特（英语：Charlie Barnet）是一位萨克斯风演奏家[7]。
