位置

曼谷大学，于1962年12月25日由Mr.Surat、Mrs.Pongtip Osathanugrah所创立的。Mr. Surat Osathanugrah是泰国最成功的商人之一，曾担任内政部副长、商业部部长、以及人民代表。

原为泰国综合理工学院，于1965年改制为曼谷学院，成为了泰国第一所私立学院。在1984年10月25日升格为大学，并设立了国际学院。

曼谷大学分成两个校区，校本部位于曼谷奎南泰校区，分部则位于郊区巴吞他尼府的兰实校区。
