奇辉椋鸟（学名：Aplonis mavornata）是库克群岛毛凯岛（Mauke）上发现及已灭绝的一种椋鸟。它的学名是因沃尔特·布勒（Walter Buller）误会了其标本的标名而来。
特征[编辑]
奇辉椋鸟长约19.2厘米，尾巴长6.4厘米。它们的脚长2.74厘米，翼长10.5厘米，翼展32厘米，双翼及脚的长度可能比实际的少了些。[2]它们整体呈暗黑色，羽毛边有浅褐色边，飞羽及尾巴并不明显。瞳孔呈黄色，脚呈暗褐色，喙较为浅色。[3]
在地理上最接近的近亲是拉岛辉椋鸟，体型较大及呈灰色。在外观上，奇辉椋鸟较接近玻利辉椋鸟在汤加努奥图布达布的亚种。另外，它们亦像铜绿辉椋鸟，只是体型较细小及有黄色的眼睛。
灭绝[编辑]
奇辉椋鸟的唯一标本是于1825年所射杀的。[4]直至1973年才有鸟类学家到达岛上，但奇辉椋鸟可能因入侵的大家鼠所掠食而灭绝了。有指大家鼠等可能是于1825年才在岛上出现[4]，故相信奇辉椋鸟是在不久后灭绝的。
命名[编辑]
奇辉椋鸟的标本出处及采集时间不明。沃尔特·布勒于1887年误会了其标名[5]，而Richard Bowdler Sharpe尝试将其种小名更正为inornata。不过，这个种小名已被使用，故根据《国际动物命名法规》，布勒的学名是有效的。
