根瘤菌目(學名:Rhizobiales)是革蘭氏陰性變形菌門中的一個目。
具有會固氮作用和與植物根系共生的根瘤菌出現在幾個不同的科中。 四個科中的慢生根瘤菌科,生毛黴菌科,Phyllobacteriaceae,和根瘤菌科至少含有6個固氮的,豆類結瘤的微生物共生菌。 例子是慢生根瘤菌屬和根瘤菌屬。 Methylocystaceae的種屬是甲烷氧化菌; 它們使用甲醇(CH3OH)或甲烷(CH4)作為唯一的能源和碳源。 其他重要屬是人類病原體巴爾通體科和布魯氏菌科,以及農桿菌屬(遺傳工程)。
